Best base recipe for Cheesy Potatoes in the oven. Mix up the toppings (corn flakes, chips, onion straws,etc) and spice it up with some added meats (ham, bacon, etc.)
Ingredients
- 1/2 Stick Melted Butter
- 2Lb frozen hash brown (can be strips or cubes)
- 1 Can Cream of Chicken (Cream of Mushroom if vegetarian)
- 16 oz Sour Cream
- 2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1 Onion Chopped (or some onion powder)
- 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
Method
Step 1
Combine butter and hashbrowns (still frozen) then mix in soup, sour cream and cheese. Add in onion and garlic and mix then put in 9x13
Step 2
Bake at 250 for 55 minutes
Step 3
You can make in advance and store in fridge until ready to use
