Ingredients

  • 18.5 oz package yellow cake mix
  • 3 3/4oz package jell- instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 C cold water
  • 1/2 C wesson oil
  • 1/2 C Bacardi dark Rum (80 proof)
  • Glaze:
  • 1/4 lb Butter
  • 1/4 C water
  • 1 C granulated sugar
  • 1/2 C Bacardi Dark Rum (80 proof)

Method

Step 1

Turn oven to 325 and grease a Bundt Pan

Step 2

Mix all non glaze ingredients together and pour batter into bundt pan and bake for 1 hour

Step 3

For the glaze - in a sauce pan melt the butter and stir in water and sugar. Boil for 5 minutes, remove from heat and add rum

Step 4

when cake is still hot poke holes in the cake using a long skewer and drizzle glaze over top
